Stamford Brook Area Guide

Stamford Brook was a tributary of the Tideway stretch of the River Thames in West London supplied by three headwaters. Historically used as an irrigation ditch or dyke the network of small watercourses had four lower courses and mouths. The name now is used to denote the small area located in Chiswick, as well as its closest London Underground Station. The area is a leafy, quite part of London, popular amongst families and young professional couples due to the variety of high achieving schools as well as the selection of trendy and modern gastro pubs and restaurants.
